An Immersive Experience Combining Culture and Technology
The immersive multimedia hall “Conadomini” at the Hoffmann Museum in Caltagirone welcomed a school group from Gela, who took part in a guided tour focused on discovery, participation and cultural innovation.
The students enjoyed a highly evocative experience inside the vaulted rooms of the hall, where ancient brick walls, scenic lighting and immersive video projections brought to life an itinerary capable of combining history, memory and technology.
The “Conadomini” Hall as a Space for Storytelling
The images projected onto the walls and floor transformed the museum space into an engaging visual narrative, accompanying the students on an exciting journey through historical content, reconstructions and atmospheres of great impact.
During the visit, the pupils attentively followed the guide’s explanations, pausing to observe the details of the multimedia installations and documenting some moments of the experience with their smartphones.
Light Effects and Video Projections in Historic Spaces
The lighting effects along the immersive corridor were particularly appreciated. Red beams of light, projections and visual effects enhanced the architecture of the space, creating a suggestive dialogue between the historical setting and the contemporary languages of museum communication.
The environment, characterized by vaulted ceilings and brick masonry, offered the students a fascinating setting that made the visit not only educational, but also emotional and participatory.
